Part Time Administrative Assistant

Seeking half time, detail-oriented administrative assistant at busy non-profit that provides advocacy in a legal setting for lower income, at-risk children in downtown Seattle. Must be proficient with Windows, Outlook and Word and have basic Excel ability.  Job is varied and entails handling phone calls, data entry, faxing, copying, scanning, mailing, creating files, ordering office supplies, and other tasks.  Family Law CASA needs a bright, professional person who is able to multi task and who enjoys variation in their work.  Previous experience with court documents and confidential information helpful.  General schedule will be 20-25 hours per week with additional hours necessary at various times through the year.  Family Law CASA offers an inclusive, positive work environment with an emphasis on professional development.  Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.  Salary is DOQ.

Family Law CASA is a private non-profit that advocates for children in high-risk custody disputes that involve allegations of domestic violence, addiction, mental illness, abuse and/or neglect.  CASA volunteers are trained, supported and guided by our professional staff in order to compile legally and therapeutically relevant information about children’s circumstances to recommend parenting plans that promote children’s safety and well-being.  The children and families served are from diverse backgrounds and may be experiencing varying levels of stress or crisis.  The ideal administrative assistant will have the ability to maintain a respectful, professional demeanor and be dedicated to helping vulnerable children.
