Training for New Volunteers takes three days (21 hours) and is scheduled three times per year. Trainings normally are held at the beginning of February, mid May and the end of September. The next training is scheduled for September 27, 28 and October 4, 2007. The time each day is usually 8:30-4:15pm. To obtain an application, click on the tab labeled "Volunteer" and click on "Application." To be eligible for training, you must submit a complete application and essay, undergo a criminal records check, and schedule an interview with CASA staff. The CASA staff will notify you after the interview if you have been accepted into the training. Applicants need to be 21 years old. For questions related to training, call the office at 206-748-9700.
